    Safety Tip: Identification of a leaking seal vs. non-leaking seal

    Determining whether a seal is leaking isn’t as easy as it might seem. A small amount of lubricant seepage on the backside of a STEMCO seal is a normal and acceptable result of the grease pre-lube escaping from newly installed seals.

    SAFETY TIP - Is RSD Spec'd Aftermarket Friction Right for Your Fleet?

    RSD mandates require that all new trucks are spec'd to stop within 250 feet while loaded at their gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and moving at 60 miles per hour when they roll off the showroom floor. However, the mandates do not require that aftermarket replacement friction components are spec'd to those same standards.
